Dimitrios Karpouzas is
a Prof. in Environmental Microbiology and Biotechnology and Head of the
Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, University of Thessaly, Greece.
His work mainly focus on the study of the interactions of pesticides and
veterinary drugs with soil microorganisms leading either to biodegradation or
toxicity. He has authored 120 publications in peer-reviewed journals (Citations
3824, h-index: 37). He has participated and coordinated several EU
(MSCA-IF-H2020, MSCA-IAPP-FP7, MSCA-IRG-FP7, ERANETplus) and national funded projects (ARISTEIA
II, HFRI, THALIS, RESEARCH-CREATE-INNOVATE).

Mrs Anastasia Voulgara has a first degree in Sociology from the Panteion University of Athens. She has been working in the administration and management of research and training project since 2008 in projects funded by the European Commission (MSCA-IAPP-H2020), national funding bodies (HFRI, GSRT-Greece) and more recently in the management of the research infrastructure Omic-Engine.
IPR Manager
Christos Poulios (LLM. MSc, DiN) is a lawyer with expertise in the settlement of IP Rights issues. He leads the law team of the Research Committee of the University of Thessaly which deals with IPR issues including procedures for patenting, preparation of agreements etc. He will provide support to the ARISTO network on any IPR issues might evolve beyond those described in the consortium agreement.
